Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden (Port Augusta)

Showcases Australia's arid and semi-arid plants in a natural setting partly overlooking the top of Spencer Gulf.  A great place to see a variety of plants, birds and other native wildlife.

Tennyson Dunes

Is a group of dedicated volunteers working to protect the biodiversity and natural history of the Tennyson Dunes – the best preserved example of coastal dunes on the Adelaide Plains.

They undertake weed control, community education and threatened species recovery projects.

Nature Conservation Society of South Australia

NCSSA is a science based community conservation organisation that concentrates on biodiversity conservation. It's members are drawn from all parts of the state and all walks of life. NCSSA carries out research projects, biological surveys, community education and advocacy on behalf of the environment. It's projects include the Bush Condition Monitoring Program and Mt Lofty Ranges Woodland Bird Monitoring Program. NCSSA is funded by members, donations and government grants.

Nature Foundation SA

Nature Foundation SA is a not-for-profit wildlife charity which works with and inspires others to save, protect and restore South Australia's natural biodiversity.

Birds SA

Birds SA is one of South Australia's largest conservation NGOs and seeks to connect people with birds. It promotes bird conservation by publishing newsletters and journals, running fieldtrips and monthly meetings.
