Society Plant Sales

Our Adelaide plants sales are traditionally held twice a year

The aims of our society include providing information about Australian native plants and promoting their use in Australian gardens and urban landscapes. We hold a number of plant sales throughout the year where examples of plant species which our members have had success with can be purchased by the wider community, extending the range of varieties beyond what is available from most commercial outlets. (See Native Plant Nurseries for some nurseries that specialise in Australian natives.)

Part of the proceeds is put towards conservation projects and various other activities of the society. Click on the headings below for details about the dates and venues this year.

Regional Sales

Some local groups hold their own plant sales at different times of the year.

The Fleurieu group has sales at Nangawooka Flora Reserve near Victor Harbor in Autumn and Spring.

Nangawooka

Nangawooka Autumn Open Day and Plant Sale. Autumn 2023 is the 40th Anniversary of the first plantings at Nangawooka Flora Reserve. APS Fleurieu and Friends of Nangawooka are planning a celebration involving past and present members of Friends of Nangawooka, APS Fleurieu, and Zonta.

The Northern Yorke group has a plant sale in Kadina in May.
