Society Plant Sales
Autumn Native Plants Sale Adelaide Showgrounds 10am, April 29th & 30th 2017.
The aims of our society include providing information about Australian native plants and promoting their use in Australian gardens and urban landscapes. We hold a number of plant sales throughout the year where examples of plant species which our members have had success with can be purchased by the wider community, extending the range of varieties beyond what is available from most commercial outlets. (See Native Plant Nurseries for some nurseries that specialise in Australian natives.)
The plants at our sales have been grown locally by our members, and part of the proceeds is put towards conservation projects and various other activities of the society. Click on the headings below for details about the dates and venues this year.
Adelaide Sales are held at the Adelaide Showgrounds in Autumn and Spring. The Spring sale also includes a flower show of native species that are in bloom at the time.
Some local groups hold their own plant sales at different times of the year.
The Fleurieu group has sales at Nangawooka Flora Reserve near Victor Harbor in Autumn and Spring.
The Northern Yorke group has a plant sale in Kadina in May. Information about their next sale can be found in the Calendar.
