Local Groups

There are local groups of APS members in nearly every part of South Australia.

In some regions, members have formed local sub-groups who meet regularly, and organise activities such as field excursions, or local conservation projects. In other areas, there is a more casual network of members who share a common interest in promoting and preserving the natural flora.

Brinkworth

The Brinkworth sub-group meets regularly in the Brinkworth Hall Supper Room, Brinkworth.

Eastern Eyre Peninsula

The Eastern Eyre sub-subgroup meets regularly in the Arno Bay / Port Neill region.

Fleurieu (Victor Harbor)

The Fleurieu sub-group meets regularly at the Encounter Centre, on the Ring Road opposite the Encounter Bay Oval in Victor Harbor.

Karoonda

There is an informal network of APS members in the Karoonda area.

Kimba

The Kimba sub-group have regular meetings in the Kimba area.

Murray Bridge

There is an informal network of APS members in the Murray Bridge area.

Northern Yorke Peninsula (Kadina)

The Northern Yorke Peninsula sub-group meets at 7:30pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month (except January) in "The Farm Shed", Kadina Information Centre, Moonta Rd, Kadina.
